Help with Hoya

My Hoya was looking like it was dying so I dug it up to check out the roots I found some dead roots but I can’t tell if these ones are ok and if I should chop any off or just repot in fresh potting mix and a bigger pot? It has not been repotted in like 3 years. It sits in a south facing window with indirect light and I water it every 2-4 weeks when it looks thirsty

When to repot

How do you know when your Hoya needs to be potted into the next size up? I have a few Hoyas that have been in the same pots for a few years. I plan to add trellis to them soon but not sure if they need bigger pots yet?

I think my kids might have ARFID

I have two children, an 8 year old and a 4 year old, both are diagnosed with autism and have both done feeding therapy in the past. My oldest son will eat only Taco Bell tacos, McDonald’s burgers, fries, sometimes nuggets, spaghetti, and then some other random things he cycles through. He will never eat leftovers. I can make spaghetti for him and he will eat the 1 bowl and then will refuse it and only will eat it if it’s a whole fresh new batch. He’s over 53 inches tall and under 60 lbs very skinny and tall. They both will eat fruit. My 4 year old has started getting worse and refusing more foods and he will cry and say he’s hungry but everything is gross. He used to actually gag when he would look at some foods but that part seems to be getting better. He used to eat at preschool but I found out from them recently he’s been refusing to eat at all there besides if they give him graham crackers or gold fish crackers sometimes. So for months he’s been going without any breakfast. He likes pizza and fruit. Sometimes he might eat toast with cinnamon and sugar, a waffle or a pancake. Salmon he will eat sometimes. Foods he used to like he will refuse now. Sometimes he says he wants chicken nuggets so I’ll make them or get them from McDonald’s or wherever and then once he has them he might take a little bite or not eat any at all. In December 2024 he got very sick from a stomach bug and ended up in the children’s hospital for 3 days and I’m not sure if this was the onset of his eating becoming even more picky. He did feeding therapy before because he used to gag and choke on foods a lot as a younger toddler. I don’t know how to help and it makes me sad when I can tell he’s visibly upset and hungry but he doesn’t want anything I offer him. And my other kids diet is very expensive as he only wants to eat foods from certain restaurants.
