Gardening as a teen

Hihi ^_^ I'm moving soon and the new place has a big backyard that I want to use some of for gardening. I've never really gardened much before (the most I've done is growing green onions in a glass of water) and was wondering what all I need to know? Also reccomendations for tools/brands for tools would help a lot!! I'm only 13 so I don't know much and I feel like knowledge from gardeners on Reddit will be more helpful than Google. Small plant-based switches

Hihi ^_^ I've been thinking about wanting to make vegan/plant based switches to some foods for quite some time. I was wondering what some small and affordable switches I could make are? I've already been thinking about switching out cow's milk for a different plant based milk because I just don't like the taste but I'm sure there's more I can do. I don't want to go fully vegan, but I would like to have a more plant-based diet to be healthier and to be more eco-friendly.

Insomnia struggles

TL;DR: I have really bad insomnia and i need help to fix it

I need help fixing my sleep schedule ( >Д<;) For a few weeks now I haven't been able to sleep normally (i fall asleep at 4pm-7pm because i keep staying up from whenever i wake up to 4-7) and it's causing me to miss out on meals and hanging out with my friends. I don't want me and my friends to grow distant because of my messed up sleep schedule, but it's hard to fix it because even if I do go to sleep at a decent time, I wake up in the middle of the night and I cant fall back asleep. I try to avoid melatonin because it gives me nightmares and I don't wanna mess up my body's ability to produce melatonin more than I probably already have. I think staying up so late is causing my anxiety to worsen and i barely have the energy to get through the day because of my anxiety and depression as it is but it's just been getting worse. I'm moving in a few days and school's starting back up in about a month so I really wanna be able to get some sleep before then. Does anyone have any fixes that don't involve melatonin?

Getting into ecology as a teen

Does anyone know how I could get into ecology stuff? I'm 13 and I was talking to my friend the other day about what we might want to do as a career one day and they brought up ecology. I've looked into it some and I think that's something I definitely wanna do one day and want some prior knowledge before I start college in the distant future but I don't know where to start. If anyone has any ideas or recommendations that would be appreciated!! If it helps at all I specifically wanna get into organism ecology. kthxbyeeee(>^ω^<)
