The Void, 2015, poetry zine

A zine I recently found that I made originally in 2015! One of my first ever poetry zines, around the same time I was interviewed in a cbc arts short doc about zines.

Slug toy hiding my old name lol.

Pain relief items

Hello friends! I'm seeking a small amount of help to get some pain relief items.

Earlier this month I was diagnosed with de quervains tensynovitis - my thumb tendon in my right hand is in excruciating pain. I am a disabled individual unable to work regularly and my enthusiasm with selling my art has potentially caused this condition, along with hereditary history.

I was able to purchase 2 braces/splints for my daily use, and that took all of my extra money for this month. And then my cats water fountain broke. I could use help with icing wrist packs, advil, and a new cat water fountain.

Thank you so much for considering this!

Trans & hrt - 5 years later

Hello all! My first post is here, 5 years ago, when I wanted to first start on hrt.

I am a transmasculine person who acquired vulvadynia from an MVA, pelvic floor injury and pelvic fractures in 2013 - 7 years before I decided to transition with hrt.

In my experience, time (the nerves healing) , physio and hrt were very helpful to healing from constant vulvadynia symptoms.

It was constant, 24/7, for many years with a lot of physio and pain medication and avoiding intimacy - as my healing got further along, I was worried hrt would halt or reverse it. Thankfully this was not the case.

As my genitals grew, at first it was extremely sensitive. After the initial growth sensitivity subsided into normal levels, I found vulvadynia pain less and less prevalent.

Now, I experience vulvadynia pain only occasionally and only at certain times - during menstruation or during / after very intense intimacy that includes penetration.

Everybody is different and I want to give some inspiration that healing is possible.

Sending gentle vibes to everyone experiencing this 💜

Newly diagnosed

What is something you wish you knew sooner upon getting diagnosed? Anything like advice, tips, or just support to give for this diagnosis?

I just got diagnosed last week with this in my right wrist. Im a 34 yr old fibre artist and gamer, and ex cake decorator so I've always used my hands and wrists a lot.

Thanks for reading.

Scifi or horror movies/tv?

Looking to join a plex server that has sci-fi, horror, thriller tv/movies. Im also big into audiobooks, fiction and nonfiction! My wife also enjoys artsy or weird, outlandish comedy flicks (think Psycho Goreman) and our 2 year old puppy loves to cuddle on the couch with us and stare at any kind of nature documentary. We recently had to downsize and streaming didnt make the cut. Im a disabled, stay at home spouse, so I do stream a lot. Thank you for your consideration! Please send me a dm if youre willing to share.
