Issue with Agent

Hi, I am having an issue since catching my agent in a lie. My mom got sick in Feb and was unable to return home so she decided to sell it. When I went to find an agent I went to the company my mother had purchased it from years ago. My mom was only asking $40,000 since she knew her trailer she was living in would need torn down and she wanted a quick sale since her health was declining. Knowing this the agent listed it at $75,000. Of course no offers came in during the first month (April). I had to call the agent to get her to drop the price. She dropped it to $65,000. During this time mom signed the property over to me so I could handle things in the event she passed. Mid May she dropped the price to $55,000. My mom passed the beginning of June. During most of this the only communication with the agent was if I prompted it. I texted the agent a few days after mom passed, it was around 8am on a Tuesday. She asked me to call her and she stated a few offers came in so I accepted a cash offer for the asking price. A few days later she still hadn't emailed the offer for me to sign so again I had to contact her. She claimed the buyers agent wouldn't return her calls and maybe more offers would come in. Weird. Then a week later I again contact her to see if there has been any offers and she states a cash offer of $47,000 and a loan offer of $55,000. I was leaning toward the cash offer however she stated the loan offer person stated they wanted the property to be closer to their mom so they could help care for her. Of course I am still emotional from losing my mom so I take that offer. Two weeks after this he comes back and says the septic needs replace and he will only do $45,000. At this point I feel I have no choice. I googled the buyers name and he is a real estate appraiser from the area. Well, yesterday we were at 34 days since the contract was signed and, as usual, I had to call my agent to get an update. She said the delay was due to the buyer wanting to put it as an llc. She also forgot what she told me and stated how she knows the guy and I asked about his mom, turns out his mom doesn't live there. My agent literally forgot she lied to me. She screwed me to sell to a friend. Today I asked for an update and she stated she had been trying all day to contact the title company and she was having trouble getting an answer. I called to title company, they picked right up and are overnight me the paperwork. I think I got the worst agent. Is this normal behavior? Is my only recourse negative reviews?

Stage 4 pancreatic cancer

I have an odd question...my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 pancan (has stint in bile duct) the end of Feb. She has steadily declined since. She is on hospice care and has no pain. Last week she drank some water, drank 2 small pineapple juice cans and half a yogurt. That was for the whole week. She throws up the protein shakes even with trying Zofran. Her body is bony from the weight loss. With her not feeling pain though, in her mind she can still do things. She woke up this morning wanting to go shopping at kohls, I cleaned her, dressed her, put her in the wheelchair and then the car. Everything she touched bruised her. We were gone maybe an hour and she was so exhausted she was falling asleep as I was putting her back in bed. Has anyone had a loved one that went through this without pain. What was their experience and how did you help them? Or keep them from hurting themselves? What was leading up to the transition like?

Cremation in the tri cities area

I live in Bluff City and will be moving my mom (under hospice care) up from FL to live with me. In FL cremation is $995, the prices I am seeing close to JC look to be around $1,295. Is there anything cheaper in the area? It will be a simple cremation with no service.

Sorry, long post-Question on things happening with Moms stage 4 Pancreatic cancer signet ring

Mom went to the hospital Feb 21st severely jaundice. They found she had a tumor on her pancreas that was closing off the bile duct, she also had a tumor on her liver. They put a stint in and sent her to a rehab since, while in the hospital, she stopped being able to walk. While at rehab she became severely swelled with edema and her blood pressure plummeted. they sent her to the hospital where she saw an oncologist. He said she needed to get stronger for chemo and once she was stabilized she was sent back to rehab. She just got weaker and now she is under hospice care. She has had zero pain however she is losing weight and barley eats. She has been doing good with stool softeners however, she didn't eat at all on Sunday and Monday did not poop. The nurse came on Tuesday and I spoke with her about it and she stated not to expect much to go out if not much is going in. Made Sense. Tuesday night, when I was changing her, I was being silly and poked her belly. I felt a hard mass the size of my fist in her lower right abdomen. I believe it is backed up poop. I gave her MiraLAX yesterday morning and her normal stool softeners, nothing. At 5pm yesterday she drank some smooth move tea and I gave her some more MiraLAX around 9pm. She threw up and you could tell the tea had not digested. She is refusing anything right now and still states she feels fine. The nurse is coming soon to see if they can help. My question is, what is normal for her diagnosis? What should we expect? Since she isn't feeling any pain how can I stay on top of issues? No one ever sat down with us and told us what to expect or anything. Any information is appreciated.

Wedgie issue

My mom is in hospice care due to pancreatic cancer. She has lost alot of weight and is mostly bedridden. Some days she let's me put her in a wheelchair for about 30mins or so however it makes her butt hurt even with the fancy gel pad we got her. Anyhow, I have been using briefs on her and she has been complaining of having a wedgie. She feels the wedgie even without the brief on. I have used creams and she still feels it. Has anyone had this happen and is there a fix?

What happens when home care stops?

I came to Florida from TN to care for my mom who has terminal pancreatic cancer. I have been here since Feb. My husband has been more then understanding however he is hurting without me there. His family isn't a good support system. I have been caring for my mom at my sister's house however my sister made it clear she will not care for her if I leave. I plan to leave mid June and go home. I want time to transition mom to a home. My question is, will she go to a hospice home or a nursing home? I will talk to her care team when it gets closer however I just wanted an idea of what to expect. I know mom will be disappointed. Her mental state is fine.
