HP 14s-dq5029 coffee spill 2 days ago. Laptop works fine except the far-right keys: Delete, Home, Page Up, Page Down, Left/Right arrow.
Repair here is expensive and I’m traveling to Egypt next week. Is it safe to wait until then, and does this sound fixable or possibly permanent?
I recently bought a replacement toner cartridge for a HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202w.
I believe it was completely empty or unuseably dry, and after several attempts to load toner from it (all jammed), there's no indication from the printer that its toner level has changed.
Symptoms:
- when I pre-shook it to loosen the toner, the ball inside it was very hard to break loose so it would move around, and eventually stuck again (stopped making noise even as I continued shaking it).
- the cartridge inserted OK, but the plunger was extremely hard to push down. I put my whole body-weight on it and it finally went down and 'clicked', but the toner level indicator light did not change.
- the cartridge would not rotate after the plunger was down. I had to 'cancel' the process to get the printer to release the cartridge. When I tried it again (each time, several times) it behaved the same.
- the instructions recommend, if the plunger doesn't push all the way down, to pull it up and try again. When I tried to lift the plunger back up to re-try the push-down operation, the top came off the plunger. I had to use a tool to get a grip on the plunger sufficient to lift it up so I could push it down again.
After all this, a test-page shows streaks on it that weren't there before, but the toner-level shows exactly as it was. Is there any way to contact HP (I don't have a support contract) about the failed toner cartridge? Note - the problem is not with the printer, but with the cartridge.

I accidentally dropped my laptop while it was inside my bag when placing it on the ground. It wasn’t a huge drop, but it hit harder than I intended.
After that, one corner of the bottom/back panel popped open slightly. I pressed it back down and it clipped in again, but there’s still a small gap left in that corner.
The laptop still works fine, but I’m worried the clips or casing may have been damaged. I only bought this laptop less than a month ago, would something like this affect or void the warranty?

Have has this printer since 2019 and it still is a workhorse. I only use it now for the occasions Amazon return shipping label or other….
A few years ago I replaced with off-brand toner and a while after that it has printed like this with these lines to varying degrees. Is this die to the non-HP brand ink? If I pony up for the proper branded ink will this resolve? I have tried any number of cleanings, calibrations, updates, etc…. I’m ready to throw in the towel and pay up. But I want to make sure it’ll fix it or I’ll just toss this thing….
Hi all. I have an HP Pavilion 16 laptop. The display stopped working suddenly, it only works if I pull the corner of the screen at an angle. Laptop works fine otherwise (I can use it with external monitors). I tried opening it to check if the cable was being pinched or something but didn't manage to fix it.
Would it be worth it to try and replace the display and/or the cable? I'm in doubt since it works at weird angles, so both things seem to be working.
Is there a different route I should be taking to diagnose the issue?

I could use some help with configuring a new switch i just bought. Its a HP 1910-8g PoE+ (JG350A).
I can access the switch through the HP web gui via a LAN cable which is connected to my PC. Switch default IP is: 169.254.100.171
My PFsense LAN IP is 192.168.3.1
So when i go through the HP web gui wizard, i set a management manual/static IP of lets say: 192.168.3.9, which is outside of my pfsense LAN DHCP address pool. MaskLen i set to:24 and GateWay i set to pfsense LAN (192.168.3.1)
Then when i try to apply and save the changes, it says that "Request times out." And i cant login to the web gui using the new ip or the old one. I dont know what im doing wrong, i just want the switch to work as a simple switch right now. VLANs ill set up later once i get basic internet up and running.
So any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Usually this is a sign that the power in the battery is low but I tried charging and it's showing no sign of charging either.
I tried different outlets and chargers but still now sign of charging or turning on.
It was working just fine until yesterday after i finally updated the laptop after not doing it for a while.
Watched a couple of youtube videos saying it gets fixed after physically removing the battery and then attaching it against and charging it but the battery is not removable should I contact customer support?
Also read a comment on yt of a dude saying it was because of some kind of "BIOS" update which idk anything about.
The comment was 12 days old and I hadn't updated my laptop for more than that so could be the same update.
I've tried restarting, holding the power button and booting with F2 and esc(suggested by chatgpt)
Is there any way I can fix this on my own?

A few weeks ago this started happening where only with color I get this ghosting effect .. tried all the on screen maintenance options on the printer; read it might be a fuser? It is third party toner which I’ve used in past

I bought an 'as new, open box, never used' HP 800 Mini a year ago, with warranty (I registered it on HP's site).
Yesterday the SSD failed, and the diagnostics (and the label) tell me it's a "ORIGIN Inception TLC830 Pro NVMe 512GB"
There's no HP label on the SSD.
Did I get scammed, or is that actually used by HP?

I’ve read online that some users had issues with the Radeon Vega 6 graphics driver, and that the screen could cause eye strain or discomfort.
For those who actually own this laptop, what has your experience been like?
Is the display comfortable for long use, and are there any recurring problems I should know about?

I have an HP Smart Tank printer that came with GT52 and GT53 bottles of ink. However, for refill ink, the only bottles available for sale here in the U.S. are numbered as 31 and 32.
Is that ink the same as the GT52 and GT53 bottles? Will refilling my printer with 31 and 32 bottles work just fine?
Hello everyone, today I wanted to reinstall windows and whenever I select an usb to boot windows from it, doesn't start the installation, it just sends me to startup menu screen.
It is not the first time to install OS on this notebook, it worked in the past normally.
The notebook is probook 450 g8.

P.S. I need to say that today I have been able to start the windows installation and selected the language and cleaned ssd using diskpart, and then I walked out of room and when ai came back I just saw the HP error Hard Disk - (3f0) and since then I am unable to start the installation from usb even though the usb is recognized.

Since im out of school I wanted to use this laptop for homework whilst I have no access to my PC, I plug it in and it starts to flash strangely? I've never had problems charging it at all and Im not sure why its doing this. Can anyone give me some context?
As you can see from the laptop below, the silver laptop is charging as it should normally.
I do not want to repair this if it costs alot, so if its really unusable then so be it

I tried hard resetting (holding the power button) and restoring the BIOS default settings.

I'm considering buying a refurbed ZBook Studio x360 G5 with Xeon 2176M CPU and 16 GB RAM for around 560 €.
I love the design of the model and the flip functionality - but its specs seem a bit dated and ideally I need it to last 3-4 years for office work and creative hobbies.
Anyone here still have one, that you use? I would love to hear how it holds up performance wise, how the fan noise is, and any other pros/cons.
I've had this printer for years, and I've had the scanning stop working in the past. Usually the solution is to uninstall the printer, reboot, then install it again from the full driver download available at HP (that hasn't changed since 2022.) Except this time, during the installation, it fails to find the printer. It's connected via WIFI, and I can access the web interface using its IP address, so I know it's connected. The installation asks for the IP address or the host name; I've tried both and it apparently can't access the printer. I did a reset of all the settings on the printer, rejoined the WIFI, and same thing. Uninstalled the driver, removed them via the control panel, restarted the PC, and again during the installation it cannot find the printer.
During the driver install, there's a place where it's supposed to show your WIFI network name and password, and it says unknown for both.
I then tried the HP Smart app. It finds the printer almost immediately and installs the printer, but in order to scan you have to go through the HP Smart app which is cumbersome. Plus why I need to log into HP to use my scanner, I don't understand. But at least it lets me scan.
I tried disabling the Windows firewall, didn't help. I have a feeling a Windows update is to blame.
Even if I let HP Smart add the printer to Windows, if I run the downloaded installer, it still can't find the printer. It puts icons on the desktop, one being the scanner app, but it can't start because it can't find the printer/scanner. Installed on Windows 11
Any help is greatly appreciated!
