Updates for Getting Payment on the Rivian $12 Million Settlement

Rivian’s November 2021 IPO was one of the biggest in years, raising nearly $12 billion and valuing the EV maker at more than $85 billion. The company marketed its R1T and R1S vehicles as competitive products in the growing EV market, but investors later claimed Rivian failed to disclose that the vehicles were being sold below production cost.

On March 1, 2022, Rivian announced price increases of up to $20,000 on some models, including existing preorders. The move triggered customer backlash and sent $RIVN shares down more than 13% over two days. Investors who purchased Rivian stock later sued, claiming the company misled them about its production costs and the likelihood of significant price hikes.

The case has now resulted in a $250 million settlement, and  late claims are still open.

$ASPI Settlement Update: Deadline for Claims Is in Three Months

ASP Isotopes ($ASPI) is now heading toward an investor settlement over claims that the company misled investors about its uranium enrichment capabilities and the readiness of its quantum enrichment technology.

In late 2024, ASPI promoted its technology as a potential solution for uranium and HALEU production, highlighted technical milestones, and announced a term sheet tied to a future TerraPower-related project. But on November 26, 2024, a research report challenged those claims. The next day, CEO Paul Mann stated in an interview that the company had not actually enriched uranium, a disclosure investors say should have been made much earlier. Shares fell more than 35% over two trading sessions.

The lawsuit covers investors who purchased $ASPI shares between September 26, 2024 and November 26, 2024. While the settlement amount has not yet been disclosed, claims can already be submitted.

Updates for Getting Payment on the Rivian $250 million Settlement

Hey guys, if you missed it, Rivian settled $250 million with investors over claims that it failed to disclose the true cost of producing its vehicles. And, I just found out that they’re accepting claims even though the deadline has passed.

Quick recap: In 2022, Rivian was accused of misleading investors about its vehicle pricing and production costs. In short, the company promoted its R1T pickup and R1S SUV as competitively priced electric vehicles, but investors later alleged that Rivian was losing substantial amounts of money on each vehicle sold and failed to clearly disclose how severe the cost gap was. As supply-chain issues and material costs increased, Rivian announced major price hikes that sparked customer backlash and raised concerns about the company’s financial outlook.

Now, the good news is that the company agreed to settle $250 million with them, and even though the deadline has passed recently, they’re accepting late claims.

So, if you invested in $RIVN when all of this happened, you can still check the details and file your claim here.

Anyway, has anyone here invested in $RIVN at that time? How much were your losses, if so?
