Has anyone experienced lip pigmentation after a lipstick reaction?

Hi everyone!

I recently had what seemed like an allergic reaction to a lipstick, and ever since, my lips have become noticeably darker and more pigmented. 😭 The irritation has mostly settled, but the pigmentation is still there, and I'm worried about whether my natural lip colour will return.

I visited a dermatologist and am currently using the prescribed tacrolimus ointment, antioxid capsules, and UV-protective lip balm.

Has anyone experienced lip pigmentation after a lipstick reaction? How long did it take for your lips to return to their natural colour? I'd really appreciate hearing your recovery experiences. ❤️

I just gave my interview, manifesting my first job offer after 7 months!!! 😭

I've been unemployed for 7 months now. I only started actively giving interviews around 2 months ago, but I still haven't been able to land an offer.

I had an interview today, and I genuinely feel it went well. 🤞

Please send me all the good luck and blessings. I'm so ready for this phase to end, I really don't want to be unemployed anymore. 😭❤️

I'm embarrassed interviewer didn't ask me anything!!! 😭

SO I had an interview today and cleared the HR virtual round, so they immediately scheduled me for a round with the co-founder.

She asked me to introduce myself, explain my work experience, and tell her a bit about my family background. I answered everything, and then she just smiled and said, "I'm done with my questions. Do you have anything you'd like to add?"

I was sitting there thinking... wait, wtf just happened that's it? 😭 I genuinely froze because I was expecting more questions. It felt so awkward, and I had no idea what else to say.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is it normal for an interview to end that quickly, or did I just blank out at the worst possible moment? 😭

Should I add fake freelance job on my resume to cover the gap?

So I've been unemployed for almost 7 months now. I've given a bunch of interviews but still haven't landed an offer. At this point, I think recruiters have a PhD in ghosting candidates. 😭

I'm a 2022 engineering graduate with experience in a non-IT operations/support role. Lately, I've been thinking of switching to a more creative field, mainly UX design. But after doing some research, it feels like a lot of entry-level roles are either super competitive or getting impacted by AI.

I had a question for people who've been in a similar situation:

Has anyone ever added freelance work to their resume even if it wasn't through a formal company? How do companies usually verify freelance experience? Do they ask for PF records, invoices, or any other proof?

Would love to hear your experiences or advice!

2022 Engineering Graduate Trying to Switch to IT (Non-Coding) need advice on how to get into IT? 😭

I'm a 2022 engineering graduate looking to transition into the IT industry. I have around 3.5 years of work experience, but it's entirely in non-IT roles (operations executive/ Cx sucess).

Due to some personal issues, I've been unemployed for the past 6 months. Since few months, I've applied to hundreds of jobs, but I'm barely getting any interview calls sometimes none at all. It's been quite discouraging.

I want to start fresh in the IT industry, preferably in a non-coding role. I'm open to starting as a fresher or in any entry level position.

Could you please suggest:

- Which non-coding IT skills are currently in demand?

- What certifications or tools should I learn to improve my chances?

- Which entry-level IT roles should I target?

- If anyone has made a similar career switch, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

Any guidance would mean a lot. Thank you!

Birthday nails I did myself! Would love your feedback! 💅🏽✨😮‍💨

Yesterday was my 25th birthday, and I decided to do my own nails the day before instead of using press-ons.

I placed every nail sticker one by one, making sure each one was perfectly aligned. It took me around 30–40 minutes, but I genuinely enjoyed the process because I've always wanted to do something creative with my nails.

Y'all tell me how's it? I'd love to hear what you guys think! 💅✨

How do I fix this? 😭💔

I just filed my nails a few days ago, and then this happened. 😭 I was so excited to paint them, add some cute nail stickers, and get them birthday-ready. My birthday is just a few days away, and I really don't want to cut this nail. 💔✨

▲ 20 r/acne

Pretty sure medication triggered my acne in 2025. Here's how I treated it with just 2 creams.

I never had acne this severe before. It started after I was on medication in mid 2025 (not 100% sure if that was the cause, but the timing matched). The last 7–8 months were really difficult, and it took a toll on my confidence. I finally got it under control using just two creams prescribed by my dermatologist (attached the image at the end).

Sharing my before & after photos in case it gives someone else hope. Also, i still have some visible open pores on my right side if y'all have something that has worked do lemme know!

Happy to answer any questions!

24F feeling stuck & exhausted from job hunting — need advice or referrals

Hey everyone,

I’m 24F and I graduated with an engineering degree. Right after college, I started working in BDE and later moved into Customer Success / Operations Support. Have a total of 3.5 years of experience.

It wasn’t really related to engineering, but honestly I wasn’t interested in technical roles and I took whatever opportunity I got at that time to support my family financially.

Right now, I’ve been job hunting for the past 3–4 months. I had to leave my previous job due to some personal reasons, but I’m ready to start working again.

I’m mainly looking for roles in Operations Analyst, Operation support, KYC/AML analyst, Customer Escalation, Escalation Support, or similar fields.

One thing though most openings I’m seeing are rotational shifts or full night shifts, and I’m trying to avoid that.

If anyone has any advice, referrals, or knows about any openings, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! 🙌
