[DISCUSS] Got a MacBook Air M5 from Flipkart
I want to share this with you all because you all have been very helpful.
I was looking for a deal on MacBook Air M5 16GB/512GB for quite some time.
10 days ago, there was an offer in Flipkart (1,07,900 - 7K for SBI Credit card and 3K extra which bought down the price to 97,900). Though its a good price, I was skeptical about placing order in Flipkart and the seller being "TREASURE HAUL ONLINE" did not help.
There are a lot of negative reviews about this seller, but I decided to take a chance because I had a 12 year old HP laptop on its last leg. Keyboard stopped working 2 years ago and display started flickering recently. Flipkart had 5000 extra off running along with this promotion and it showed the value of my laptop at around 6300 including promotion.
All in, I paid around 92K post laptop exchange.
I got the laptop today with open box delivery.
Checked the serial number in Apple website before even the seal was opened, the laptop was not registered. Did the entire unpacking while recording the video, setup my account, checked if the serial number matches with the one in the outer box, checked the config and everything and gave the OTP.
Post account creation, laptop got registered and it's showing 1 year warranty as expected.
I am not supporting Flipkart or "TREASURE HAUL ONLINE", but please do your due diligence when you are buying laptop online.
