I just got the NYX Pecan Praline butter gloss on the suggestion of this sub, and the sheerness and color are perfect, but it's too glossy for me. What are other lip products that are a similar pink brown with warmish-neutral undertones?
My (platonic) best friend and I have lived together for almost 6 years, since the beginning of junior year of college. Over the years, our relationship has become a bit lopsided, where I have really started to come into my own, and she is very anxious and doesn’t leave the house much. She relies on me for any connection to the outside world.
I finally started therapy for my own anxiety after not going for years, and my therapist convinced me it’s time to move out. Unfortunately, a few weeks later, the same therapist (who is new to the job!) got really freaked out when I shared some >!suicidal thoughts!< and had me sent to the psych hospital. I was there for 8 days and it was literal hell. Now that I’m out, Im dealing with PTSD from the situation on top of the issues I was already going to therapy for. I’ve been home for about a month, and on Saturday my best friend asked me point blank if I was thinking about moving out so I answered honestly.
She got really mad at me, and we had a marathon 2 hr long discussion? argument? that ended with me getting really triggered and having a panic attack (not her fault, just the realities of PTSD!).
We haven’t really talked since, and today she subtweeted me on her close friends story which I still have access to??? Feeling so sad, and so much grief for our friendship. I don’t hate her and I don’t think she’s a bad person, I think she just got so comfortable being the one who’s struggling that anything other than unwavering support from me feels like she’s being cheated.
Also, our lease isn’t up until the end of August 😭
Pasta was good af and super filling, my boyfriend has been so chill while life has been throwing curve ball after curve ball and is keeping me fed and loved. Thank you for listening to the vent, girlies!!!
