Wow, I had not been for a few years. Before 2023 or so, every time I went into a MOD pizza it was absolutely packed with a line out the door.
You could get an unlimited topping pizza back then for $8-9.
I stopped in tonight and it was completely dead. Not a single customer. It surprised me, because at the same time years ago it would be packed.
The same pizza is now $15.
Nuts!
I scored an awesome open box deal at Best Buy, and quickly determined it was likely returned because the right side speaker doesn't work. It's not a balance setting or driver issue.
Otherwise it's in pristine condition and tests out wonderfully.
Lenovo reset the warranty to a full year.
Is it worth the risk to send it in for warranty repair to get that speaker working, or would I be risking damaging other components and/or shipping theft?
Purchased 2025 and came with the last 2.x firmware.
I have no issues with these headphones as-is. I pair them with a BTD-500 dongle and other than a pairing cycle needed once in a blue moon (usually achieved by holding down the connect button on the dongle), I've had 0 issues. Heads on/off gets it right about 90% of the time, and if it ever gets buggy, a power cycle fixes it.
Is a firmware upgrade to 3.x worth the risk?
