Heatwave has me craving lemonade 🍋

Never crossed my mind to build a lemonade stand until yesterday when I was sweating buckets helping my mom move some things out of my grandma’s house where my childhood best friend and I used to host lemonade stands in the summer 🍋✨

Controversial Take: I like bread to be the star of the show

Each slice of Trader Joe’s sourdough is toasted on BOTH sides with salted butter for maximum crispiness. Two slices of Boar’s Head Vermont Cheddar in the middle. Not a very cheesy grilled cheese, but it’s my grilled cheese ❤️🧀

Lucha in a power pose-off with his HHP roomie

I was so hesitant to give Lucha a roommate because that diva does not give off shared vacation home vibes. But I was looking for an excuse to redecorate his house and the second I saw Sparro on the beach I knew it was meant to be. So happy these kings are hitting it off ✨

Moon Bay (Version 1) is Complete!

Working on this island since late December has gotten me through 3 surgeries and a particularly challenging semester of grad school. Don’t know what I would have done without it. I look forward to changing things up in the future, but for now, Moon Bay 1.0 is finished! Feel free to swing by in your dreams if you have time 😴😊

Finally! My first blue rose!

It finally happened! After months of trying simple four step directions with zero success and many wasted hours, I finally gave in and did the Paleh method. I’ll link the video tutorial I followed in a comment below (assuming I’m allowed to do that). It’s quite a few steps, but the YouTuber broke it down in a really understandable way for me.

I time traveled to get the results in an irl day + a couple hours the previous day. Honestly, I invested as much time in the unsuccessful (for me) four step directions as I did in this more complicated recipe. If you’ve decided to fixate on breeding a blue rose, I’d recommend just going ahead and doing the Paleh method.

Now on to the green mum!
