[Olympus OM-1, Zuiko Auto-S 50mm, Fujifilm 400)

First (functional) roll I shot since buying my new-to-me camera. First actual roll I shot wasn’t secured properly and came back blank from the development studio.

Found it available at my store before my Amazon preorder even shipped, so I cancelled the preorder.

First time watch tonight. Man, was this film tense (and stunning)!

Popped in another childhood favorite. Have never seen it look this good.

My primary experience was seeing it on VHS at my grandparents’ house and then DVD. Wild to see the stark difference in colors the way they were intended vs. the way they were depicted on the older releases. No more blue/gray-ish looking tornadoes. They’re much more realistically dark/almost black here. Also, from a few things I heard, I was expecting a lot more green than I got, but the green was pretty much centralized to certain storm scenes, which is pretty accurate (I’ve actually seen the “greenage” for myself while staying in Illinois once).

Beyond that, it’s just a really beautiful film. And the Atmos sounded great!

Got these in via Amazon.

Obviously, one of them isn’t in 4k, but was something I was looking to pick up for a little while now.

The first of the six Connery Bond films. Watched “Dr. No” tonight. And it looks absolutely glorious.

About to rewatch the first film I ever saw in theaters (in light of this weekend being its 33rd anniversary since it got a theatrical release). For clarity, this is the one with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

Popped in a 90’s classic. Have never seen it look this good. Definitely miles better than the previous Blu-Ray release.

Popped in another one tonight. Pure 80’s adrenaline rush that looks like it could have released in theaters this past weekend.

Just watched this 80’s classic for the first time after getting my new Panasonic UB820 set up. Looked absolutely stunning.
