First flight cancellation (SNN>EWR)
I was supposed to return home to the US today but my flight (UA 271) was canceled, presumably b/c of weather on the East coast. I rebooked on Tuesday's flight via the app.
This is my first time experiencing a cancellation. From the little research I've done it looks like I cannot receive the EU compensation since weather caused the cancellation. But is there any way to get anything else from United -- miles, maybe? Can I be reimbursed for the extra car rental fees? TIA!
