For those who don't recognize it, this is the extremely loose source material for that 80s Tobe Hooper classic movie Lifeforce (I have the movie titled version of this book but this is the original 1976 publication)

Nervous Puzzles, 173 pieces, Jellyfish Dream #2026puzzles#13

2 small wood puzzle of the day, this time box is a little more informative of piece count and unlike earlier, these are larger coral cut pieces instead of the smaller irregular shapes of Mysterious hippo..again, a library checkout and complete so returning it Monday

Mysterious Wooden Puzzle, maybe 250 pieces, hippo #2026puzzles#12

Quick morning distraction - not too bad quality with biggest challenge being my big hands as pieces are small. Fits together well and no idea on piece count as box is sparse in terms of info. Loan from public library collection, glad it's complete

Ceaco, 2,000 pieces, Disney - Pixar, #2026puzzles#11

Diamond image meant more picking select characters and slowly connecting it instead of my usual start with edge and work way in. Quality OK, a few rough fits and one area where pic is coming off backer on several pieces which it should not on a new puzzle.

Bryce Wilner, 500 pieces. Gradient puzzle

For those days when pictures are too stressful 😀 fun little puzzle and took two days to finish just working a small bit maybe 10 minutes here or there

Buffalo, 2,000 pieces, Conservation Collage #2026puzzles#9

From local public library, lot harder than expected and took just over a week. Didn't start with edge like I usually do but rather with cheetah and leopard in center then whales and worked most of top 2/3 before getting the Edge complete and filling in bottom chunk

UK bound for 2 weeks. Trip reading book 1 is a sassy looking brick of a book (Exodus, book 1 of the Archimedes Engines by Peter F Hamilton) which has languished on the TBR pile but now book 2 is imminent so making a start on it.

About 100 pages in, style as usual very recognizable but after Salvation left me cold, hoping the far far future setting instead of near future Earth shakes it up a wee bit more. Still feel we've seen the disenchanted younger noble and great families (albeit Celestial) before

I reread Nights Dawn last year on this trip which I read when it originally came out though I enjoyed the Commonwealth stuff more and personal favorite is still Great North Road which is also due a reread
