Advice about approaching a crush where there may be a life-stage gap involved

So... I thought she was younger initially. She's older than me by 7 years (early-mid twenties and early thirties). Appears to have a stable adult life while I am actually behind on finishing undergrad... I see her repeatedly at a meetup and I am asking before making any movement toward her if anyone has been in a situation like this and if the outcome was non-interest (my expectation :/ ). I honestly am attracted to people pretty infrequently and really was hoping for my love life to be something that exists outside my head this year... some kind advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
