Poor battery life

Hello! I recently bought a OnePlus15 and have been disappointed by the battery life. This is a used OP15 but the system says it has 100% battery health. Additionally, I tried finding the estimated battery capacity via Accubattery Pro, but it estimates around 3500mAh (which has to be wrong). Accubattery gives me an estimated 12h SOT (26h combined) but I have never gotten above 6h.

Usually I will commute to work about 30 minutes total per day (5G + GPS) and then listen to Spotify + watch YT (around an hour) + scroll Instagram/Reddit (around two hours) for the rest of the day (on Wifi). This will usually drain my battery from 80 to 30, which seems much worse than typical OP15 SOT. The battery life actually feels similar to my old OP8T, which doesn't seem right.

I have restricted background activity for apps like Reddit and Instagram, but this hasn't seemed to change anything.

The attached screenshots don't completely capture my normal usage but I found that the battery drain was extremely high (probably due to extra GPS use).

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I followed maybe half of the suggestions in the battery saving thread but nothing has changed much.

S25+ vs Oneplus 13R

Hello! I'm looking to replace my OP8T and I'm deciding between the S25+ and the Oneplus 13R. I am looking to buy used (Swappa), so the S25+ is about $575 and the 13R is about $454.

I mainly use my phone to listen to music and browse social media, so I don't think I'll notice the processor difference.

Wireless charging isn't important to me.

Camera quality isn't incredibly important to me but I would be willing to spend a bit more for better camera quality.

I also know the S25+ supports UWB while the 13R doesn't. I am planning to use Verizon UWB, but how much of a difference does UWB make?

From my research, the Samsung is better in almost every way besides battery and OS (debatable).

Thoughts? I am wondering if the extra money is worth it for the S25+ (in my case).

License advice (moving from NJ to CA)

Hello! I will be starting employment in California on June 29th and am looking to buy a car shortly after arriving (June 25th). I know California requires that I obtain a California license within 10 days of becoming a residence, which is when I start my job on the 29th. However, I will be staying in temporary residence (provided by my employer) for up to a month (I will sign a lease by the end of July), meaning I won't have lease proof or utilities to prove California residency. The DMV requires two proofs of this for license application. I believe I can use my employment letter but I need another form of proof. Is there something else I can use or some information about this process that I am missing? Or should I just drive on my NJ license until I sign a lease (risky)?
