Birthday ideas

Hi!

Tuesday is my birthday and Usually we’d do a pool/beach day plus dinner by the water. It’s going to rain all day. We need some ideas on what to do locally!! I’m in my lower 30s and 6months pregnant, so that impacts our activities!

Any ideas on something fun or different to do?

Sip and Carve!

Hi everyone!

I am hosting another one of my Sip and Carves next Friday, 7/10 at Far From The Tree!! I plan on taking a few months off of running these this fall, there’s only a few chances to take a class before then!

During this workshop, we will learn about the printmaking process, carve a block and print it! Tickets include all supplies and a drink as well.

I can post some photos in the comments or check out my Instagram @ashleydokeart for photos as well!

Day care cost

Hi!

We are due with our first in a few months and have started looking at daycares. What’s everyone paying for daycare? He will be starting daycare at 5-6 months old and attending four days a week. We are in the Andover/North Reading/ Lynnfield area.

We’ve only toured one facility which is (what we assume) on the higher end price wise.

Thank you!

Edit to add- the one we toured for an infant for four days a week is 2795 a month or 645 weekly.

If you’ve been wanting to try printmaking, this is the perfect chance to give it a try. Bring your own sketch or use one of my designs to carve and create your own prints!

Tickets are $40 and include all supplies needed, plus a drink ticket.

You can also check out my art on display this month at CouchDog, or see more of my work on Instagram @ashleydokeart.

Online videos/ app

Hi! Before pregnancy I was rock climbing 2–4 times a week, then cut back to twice a week until my OB told me it was time to stop. I know some people continue climbing while pregnant, but I’m comfortable with this decision and honestly have no complaints!

I’ve been taking a yoga class at the gym once a week and would like to add a little more movement besides walking on other days.

I’ve thought about getting an Apple Fitness subscription and trying some of their videos. I’m mainly looking for simple workouts I can follow at home — I’m much more motivated by guided videos than trying to come up with workouts on my own at the gym.

Does anyone have any online programs, apps, or workout videos they liked during pregnancy?
