Looking at this just made me realize how much I miss this era of Barbie 😭 Everything was so glittery and glam, and I swear they always looked so good. I loved the way they dressed, the hair, the makeup, all of it. The outfits really made each character stand out.

I especially miss Raquelle and Summer. And honestly, I even miss when Ken had a friend named Steven 😂 It really felt like Barbie had an actual group of friends back then.

And Teresa wasn’t petite, I’ll always hate how they changed her.

I just don’t connect with the current friends like Renee and Daisy the same way. And now that I’m looking at this artwork again, I’m realizing they really pulled a Bratz with Nikki too 😭 Why did they whitewash her like that?!

I just miss this whole glittery, glam Barbie era 💕✨

I remember going on the My Scene website at school one day and seeing the new 2008 artwork, and I was like, “Why did they change it?!” 😭😂 I really didn’t like it when I first saw it.

I remember looking at Delancey and wondering why they made her a brunette, then realizing Nolee wasn’t there anymore. And then I’m seeing this girl named Nia like, “Who the heck is Nia?” 😭 I was so confused. I even remember wondering if they were going to change the dolls too.

I was just so used to the old My Scene look that the new artwork threw me off. The faces looked different, the eyes were huge, and the whole style felt more cartoonish and exaggerated. At the time, I wasn’t having it. 😂

It actually took me a few years to get used to it. Now I don’t hate it, and I can appreciate it for what it was, but I’ll always prefer the older My Scene artwork.

And looking back, I swear Monster High made me think of My Scene. 😂 When MH came out, I remember thinking, “My Scene got reincarnated as monsters.” The big eyes, exaggerated faces and fashionable characters just gave me that same kind of vibe. I know they’re completely different, but that’s honestly where my mind went as a kid.

I’m sorry, but rewatching this show has me looking at Jake completely differently. I don’t like him for Miley at all now 😭

The ego was my biggest problem. This man walked around like being Jake Ryan was supposed to impress everybody, and he really couldn’t separate himself from the celebrity thing. Even when Miley wanted to spend time with him like a normal person, he still wanted the attention.

And their relationship was just exhausting. The constant jealousy, the games, the breakups and getting back together… then he cheats on her on top of everything else. Miley was doing way too much work trying to make that relationship work.

Jake can be funny and charming, but as Miley’s boyfriend? Absolutely not 😂

For me, currently, I'd say my newest Sasha doll, Birthday 2nd Edition. Her screening ate and she was serving. I've been wanting her for a good minute, so when I saw her on Mercari for a good deal, I had to snag her.

She did come with shoes, just not her original ones, but I dressed her up as best as I could.

Her hair is laid too, and the seller did a good job on it. I can't wait to take some pictures of her.

I have so many favorite Sashas, but this is honestly one of the prettiest Sashas in my opinion.
