I built a free web app that helps with distraction, boredom, anxiety and mental fatigue

Hi everyone,

Over the last few months I've been building a web app called Impelio:

impelio.vercel.app

The idea is simple:

Instead of opening social media when you're distracted, bored, mentally tired, or overwhelmed, you select your current state and get a short interactive session designed for that specific situation.

Current categories:

🟦 Distraction

  • Attention challenges
  • Focus exercises
  • Reaction and concentration tasks

🟪 Boredom

  • Mini-games
  • Quick decisions
  • Interesting questions and challenges

🟩 Anxiety

  • Grounding exercises
  • Breathing activities
  • Cognitive reframing exercises

🟧 Mental Fatigue

  • Short physical and mental resets
  • Energy check-ins
  • Recovery exercises

A few things I'm trying to do differently:

  • No installation required
  • No account required
  • No ads
  • No subscriptions
  • Works on desktop and mobile

I'm currently looking for honest feedback from people who enjoy trying new web apps.

Treba mi feedback šta mislite o ovoj aplikaciji?

Pozdrav svima.

Poslednjih mesec dana radio sam na web aplikaciji koja pokušava da pomogne kada se osećate umorno, rasejano, anksiozno ili vam je jednostavno dosadno. Aplikacija je u fazi testiranja. Ovo je praktično MVP.

Ideja je vrlo jednostavna:

izaberete stanje koje vas trenutno najbolje opisuje, a aplikacija vam zatim daje kratke izazove, zadatke, igre i savete prilagođene toj situaciji.

Ne morate da pravite nalog i sve funkcioniše direktno iz browsera (telefon ili računar).

Najviše me zanima iskren feedback:

Da li vam je aplikacija uopšte korisna?

Koja kategorija vam je najzanimljivija?

Šta vam deluje besmisleno ili bi trebalo promeniti?

Do sada su ljudi najviše hvalili kategorije Rasejanost i Dosada, ali voleo bih da isprobate sve.

Napravio sam besplatnu aplikaciju za umor, rasejanost, anksioznost i dosadu — treba mi iskreno mišljenje

Pozdrav svima.

Poslednjih nekoliko meseci radio sam na jednom ličnom projektu koji sam nazvao Impelio.

Ideja je nastala iz jednostavnog problema:

Kad sam umoran, rasejan ili mi je dosadno, gotovo automatski završim na društvenim mrežama, skrolujem nekoliko minuta i na kraju se osećam isto ili još gore.

Zato sam napravio aplikaciju koja pokušava da prekine taj ciklus.

Kako radi?

Izabereš stanje koje te trenutno najviše opisuje:

🔹 Umor
🔹 Rasejanost
🔹 Anksioznost
🔹 Dosada

Nakon toga dobijaš kratke interaktivne izazove, igre, vežbe i zadatke prilagođene baš toj situaciji.

Nekoliko stvari koje su ljudi do sada najviše hvalili:

  • Kategoriju Rasejanost (testovi pažnje, fokusa i koncentracije)
  • Kategoriju Dosada (mini-igre, zanimljiva pitanja, izazovi i odluke)
  • To što aplikacija ne traži registraciju
  • To što nema reklama, pretplata niti AI chatbota koji te smara savetima

Aplikacija je potpuno besplatna i radi direktno u browseru na telefonu i računaru.

I got tired of fighting distraction, so I built a tool to help me reset

Hi everyone,

Over the last few years I've noticed that my biggest productivity problem wasn't a lack of goals or motivation.

It was attention.

Whenever I felt stuck, mentally tired, overwhelmed, or bored, I would automatically reach for my phone, open random tabs, or start scrolling.

The result was always the same: less focus, less energy, and more frustration.

A few months ago I decided to experiment with a different approach.

Instead of trying to force myself to focus, I started building a small web app that gives short interactive exercises, attention challenges, mini-games, and quick mental resets depending on how you're feeling in the moment.

The project is called Impelio:

It's completely free and works directly in the browser.

I'm not claiming it will transform your life or solve every focus problem. It's simply an attempt to create a better alternative to mindless scrolling when you feel distracted, bored, anxious, or mentally exhausted.
