I’m currently at 4 points. I found out I’m pregnant and ended up calling out to go to the ER. Had some issues and just wanted to make sure everything was okay. I called out using the pregnancy related absence option. My coach calls me telling me I have to get a note that’s 3 days to be able to submit it to Sedgwick to get it covered or I’m fired. I thought pregnancy related absences were automatically covered? This is my second pregnancy while at walmart, never abused calling out even with the 1st and being preeclamptic towards the end but the few times I did call out my points were taken off. Did something change? Can’t afford to miss 3 days if I ever need to call out. Do I have to do an intermittent loa?
