camping at devalsari woods

in your 20s, someone will ask you to come camping. it’s very important you say yes because you’ll have the best time of your life with 19 strangers.

organised a trek to devalsari woods with 19 strangers - some people came from reddit too – and it was sooooo much fun. we did some painting, some cooking, someone played guitar, some brought their voice. it was the whole thing.

2026 has been a grateful year – i’m getting to travel + meet new people.

we’re going again this weekend (one day hike to talyani gad - a hidden gem with waterfall). sooo excited!

came across this guy at the hike who surprised us with his storytelling skills. he is soooo talented. <3

pata hai aaj kya hua? i discovered i enjoy adventure sports and exploring the mountains on foot. i have been enjoying it so much that i helped my coach organise a trek to george everest (this is not your regular route - this is a hidden trek which is often used by IMA students for training) with 13 strangers.

4 people from this subreddit had joined us, and we all shared tents. (we provided meals, camping equipments, and people even tried rock climbing).

going to hike to surkanda devi this weekend, and let’s hope it’s as good as it looks in the pictures.
