Kidding with the tax evasion... 😉 Struggling to meet someone local whose entire personality isn't marvel movies, anime, star wars, and gaming. Not that there's anything wrong with those things, but unfortunately I'm not into them so it gets a little awkward. It would be nice to meet someone who has an interest in exploring the outside world, touching grass, shooting guns, and maybe talking about the war. As my friends have said, this is why I'm still single, as no one likes when their girl is a better shot than them. Anyway, I'm not all that intimidating, promise. 😇 After all, I'm just a girl with girly hobbies like cooking, baking, painting, and taking care of my man (if I had one). I like tall guys (hopefully I have a pass to say that because I'm 5'10"), am a sucker for a man in uniform, and like big trucks and big guns. I consider myself fairly traditional when it comes to dating (so those looking for hookups, that's your cue to stop reading).

I believe in getting to know someone in person, not endlessly texting and getting ghosted. We have too much choice these days and I find people listing their resume of interests can be a bit overwhelming. Looking for new friends for in-person adventures. Please be in the NoVA area. I just experienced a mass exodus in my friend group (unfortunately I live in a city where people don't stick around, so this is common). I can be a bit of a loner, but I have a fun life and it could be more fun with someone else. We don't need to message all the time, but just knowing someone has your back can make all the difference. Hoping to find someone around my age. I don't have kids so it's a plus if you don't as well. I am NOT looking for a relationship.

I enjoy a lot of outdoor activities: hiking, biking, spending time with animals (riding horses and going to local farms), military history, range trips, wandering around aimlessly, or looking for new restaurants to try. Also don't mind hiding indoors or doing more sedentary hobbies. I'm not big into technology, games, nerd stuff, etc. It's cool if you are but we probably won't have a ton of media in common if that's more your thing.

Been going through a lot of loss recently and having to keep a brave face every day is slowly tearing me apart. Getting worn down by dead ends and closed doors. Looking for a friend who is local with the intention of being IRL friends eventually (nova only please), military affiliation would be nice, someone who can listen and tell me that there's better tomorrows ahead.
