Anyone tracked what separates a domain migration that recovers vs one that doesn't?

Ive had a store thats been live for about two years now and ranks ok for a few terms. I've been going back and forth on switching to a domain that fits where my business is now and what Im doing bc the one I started with was more if placeholder name and it doesn't really describe what we sell anymore.

Every time I try to research this I end up more confused than when I started. One person says they were back to full traffic in 4 months another says their still down almost half a year later and never fully climbed back. Nobody seems to agree on why some sites bounce back clean and others just don't. Is it how the migration itself was handled, like something about the site's authority beforehand, timing or all of it?

storytime: my gf lowkey proved why the Galaxy z fold8 is nice on road trips and how it prevented fights 😂

storytime...

my girlfriend and i drove from nyc down to dc this past weekend and i swear our biggest debate wasn't where to stop for food... it was what playlist deserved the next hour 😭 anyways unfortunately my car doesn't have built in navigation, so i've always just used my phone for maps.

this time i had google maps open on one side of my fold, and spotify on the other which was so useful because she could play something new whenever she wanted, skip songs or change playlists without taking maps off the screen which often can get in the way and cause me frustrations. my new Z Fold8 made the whole passenger DJ situation way easier ad less couple arguments 😂

after 5 or 6 hours in the car i realized how much i liked having everything right there. i wasn't constantly switching between apps or handing my phone back and forth. shout out to less car arguements and smoother travel!

what's possible to give ai context across their engineering tools?

maybe this is just where we're at with ai today but it feels like once your project gets big enough everything falls apart. i dont even know if i like how ai is becoming more of a thing in this sector but im open to it if it makes my job easier i guess.

our requirements are in one place, tests somewhere else, code in git, reviews somewhere else. ai can read all of it individually but it doesn't seem to understand how any of it fits together. are people solving this somehow or is everyone still just running on tribal knowledge

anyone else using AI productivity features for stuff like long boring pdf docs

not even joking the thing i've used galaxy ai for most is just not reading long boring stuff. got a huge pdf yesterday and my brain immediately went nope so i just let it summarize the whole thing. took like a minute.

then i had to look through parking regulations for some reason and same deal. got all the actual rules that mattered without wading through the legal nonsense. honestly its becoming my go-to whenever i see a wall of text now.

doesnt replace actually reading something important but for skimming large documents it genuine works. saves my attention span.

have you tested buds 4 pro live translate yet?

switched from airpods a few months back and keep finding things the buds 4 pro do that airpods just don't

tried the live translate feature last week at a restaurant ordering food, server didn't speak much english and instead of pulling out my phone and doing the awkward google translate back and forth i just held the bud, selected the languages, and had the conversation through the buds. it heard them, translated into my ear, then spoke my response back out loud from the phone. the whole thing felt way less clunky than i expected

little latency was there but it was good enough that the conversation actually flowed. didn't have to keep stopping to look at a screen or pass my phone around

anyone else been using it for real situations? curious how it holds up in louder environments, that's my main question at this point
