[TOMT] [Music Video] Video where a Robert Smith lookalike is force-fed a giant worm

Hello! This video has been haunting me for going on...16 years now. Any help trying to find it is greatly appreciated!

I saw it when I was around 10 or 9, in 2010. We didn't have cable at the time, but there was a channel on our TV (that we were able to pick up thanks to my dad mounting the house with a huge antenna) that would constantly air music videos from different eras. I'm assuming it was some kind of local broadcast--they would do these special little segments, like, 80's at 8, 90s at 9, etc., so unfortunately I'm not exactly sure what time period it's from. My best guess at the song itself is that it's post-punk, or gothic rock, or even some brand of gloomy new wave, considering the contents of the video.

As best as I can remember, the video itself was in black and white, or at least a muted palette with white as the stand out color. I have the impression of it looking 'old timey,' so there may have been some film grain or something. The video starred someone who, in retrospect, I can say looked like Robert Smith from The Cure. (think big messy black hair in an up-do, generally gloomy demeanor lol) I'm speaking based on my impression at the time, but it seemed like he was returning from somewhere, and had come back wrong. I assumed the video was telling the story of someone who'd come back from a war or something, because he was wearing some kind of uniform. I think I'd describe it as looking like what My Chem was wearing during their Black Parade era, or Adam Ant's pirate getup. I'd never really seen anything like it before, so i guess my perspective is colored by that.

The man in the video was sadly wandering around a castle, or a brick building. It was in ruins, but there may have been flashes back to when it was whole, or when he had first been there, or something. There may have also been another man in the video. The peripheral details are all kind of fuzzy compared to what I mentioned in the title of this post, so I'm trying to lay everything out in as much detail as I can, haha.

Now for the worm. There was a scene in the video where the man is sitting down at a dinner table (i drew the example image below last year, i think. i've been looking for this video on and off for years before this, though, i just thought I'd include it.) and he's picking at a thick grub on a plate. It had big bold stripes on its fat little body. I guess I'd describe it as Burton-esque. It could've been in a paper cutout 2-D style. It cuts from being on his plate to forcing itself down the man's throat. I'm not sure how much my mind is filling in for me, but I remember it being fairly gruesome, with his throat bulging out and everything. I'm not sure if there was any video after that. What an image to end on, right?

(here's the image! i hope this is allowed!)

If this sounds familiar to anyone, I'd greatly appreciate any information you may have! I'm happy to answer any questions y'all may have, if I can. Thanks!!!
