I have 3 tickets to Royal Coda in Dallas, TX @ Puzzles on 8/15!

I am not able to go, nor my friends. Sadly.

So… I’m giving them away to three separate individuals.

If you’ve never been to a show by yourself, you want to see Royal Coda but decided against it because no one would go with you, or you just couldn’t swing it financially, here’s your chance.

If you leave a comment with your #1, absolute favorite Will Swan guitar part from any of his bands, you’ll be considered “entered”. Can be the full song or literally just like a part of it (Ex. 00:00-00:34 of Swan Soup or something). I’ll reach out to you individually if you’re selected!

Ultra New to this World... Looking for Guidance!

I’m a software engineer looking to build my first real homelab.

Main goals:

  • 4-bay NAS for family storage and my wife’s photography business
  • Backups for RAW photos, client work, Macs, and PCs
  • Docker, a few VMs, databases, staging environments, and self-hosted tools
  • Room to experiment with local AI and automation later

I also have an unused Raspberry Pi 5 4GB that I’d like to incorporate where it makes sense.

I’m thinking a NAS plus a separate mini PC for compute, but I’m open to other setups.

It doesn’t need to be best of the best, and used hardware is fine. I want something reliable, reasonably future-proof, and not overkill.

Budget is TBD. I don't want to spend a fortune, but I also don't want a cheap, unreliable setup.

What would you build?

Looking for a Pro Mod DK24 HH 2PT CM in a Trade…

I have a 2 week old Jackson Pro Plus Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT6 in Blue Sparkle from Reverb that I missed my return window on. Absolutely beautiful guitar and plays well. I just wish I would’ve gotten the Charvel instead!

Please, let me know if you’re interested or can push me towards a place where this can be posted.

Hello! I'm looking for a portable, battery powered keyboard for my wife for Mother's Day.

We have a full-sized, traditional piano that she plays, but I'm looking for something she can set on her lap and play while in bed/on the couch/on the go/etc. Also, she's expressed that she wants to mess around with a synth too. She doesn't want to get deep into it and really understand synthesis, but she wants to generate more creativity.

I think the "60% Piano / 40% Synth / 100% Great Instrument" is the best way to describe the balance I think I'm looking for with this.

Here's some priorities that I'm aiming for:

  • Good sound quality, built-in speakers (not toy-like)
  • Slim/not bulky
  • Battery powered
  • ~61 keys
  • Simple interface (nothing overwhelming or menu-divey)

Budget:

  • ~<$400 used

What would you recommend that actually feels like a real instrument but is still easy to grab and play casually?
