Vantage M3 not displaying clock

I have the setting to "show time" and lots of battery but the watch is not showing anything until I wake it.

I've turned it off and on again, reset it, paired it to my phone and still no change.

have I missed something?

Can't connect to a human

I want to talk to an agent so I started chat and went through the cycle of not helpful options twice. now it's asking me to type out my issue but that's where the chat ends; there's no way to scroll further or type anything.
