Baby Alpine with a puffy brown leather strap feels more more natural!
I always felt that the width of the bracelet made the case seem disproportionately small
Edit: forgive my title typo crime 😢

It started with the Studio Underd0g Go0fy Panda during a visit to NY. Then it went downhill from there. I think I’m slowing down now, but I may have a type. Not into divers… yet?
The Baby Alpinist may be my favorite. It was a later purchase and I think I started to know what to look for in terms of style and function.
The Skagen is my first “nice” watch from 19 years ago. Gift from my then GF, now wife. I recently sourced two new OEM straps to keep it looking good as long as I can.
I think my next bigger purchase is going to be a Spirit Zulu in blue. That style draws me in more than a diver. Also considering another Alpinist with the internal compass bezel. Not sure what else is out there. I only know the basics.
I might look into selling/trading the ones I don’t love before getting new watches so that my collection is lean.
My Longines Conquest is also green lol. I may have a type
Donut peach in my ever foggy neighborhood in San Francisco. I’m super surprised I got a handful of peaches developing on a one year planted tree in partial shade. My 3 year planted apple trees in full sun haven’t even given me a single fruit!
Just did a taste test and it’s almost there! Fragrant but not super sweet yet. Still better than a grocery store fruit though. 🥳
I’m in SF about a mile from the coast and it does get pretty cool and foggy in the summer. Is it a goner?
I’m in coastal San Francisco where we have June gloom and cool temps, so indoors is the best place to grow warm weather crops (with a grow light of course).
I roast coffee, so I have a bunch of green beans. Threw some in my basil propagation water and to my surprise, found one with a little sprout!
It’s currently in some peat/perlite mix in a humidity dome on a seedling heat mat. Hope this actually becomes a plant!
