First trip to Sicily with Moto.
Hello, I (5”6’) 76kg and my partner (5”3) 74kg will be going to Sicily from Malta for the first time with my Nc750x 2023 manual.
I have been to Sicily previously multiple times however never with a motorcycle. I recently bought givi side panniers with the 3 point system.
Any advice and tips for example which tools are recommended to carry etc? Also I will also try to avoid highways and use the SS roads as much as possible.
Also how should I set the spring load, I had some issues with reaching to the floor so I lowered the seat around 3cm in height with gel inserts. I still sometimes struggle but Im getting used to it, as I dont ride the bike that often. It also has 1800km on the clock so fairly brand new. Serviced at 1000Km. Should I be concerned? As GPS I will also be using my phone for now.
Clothing, I got an RST kevlar jeans, but I doubt that Ill use the jacket since I believe its going to be very hot.
