Started reading through the Yurick novel for the second time and I just read past the introductory chapter of Ismael and I've really been confused with some of the dialogue here, stuff like "Well, how, like, are we making it, man?" or "Like we have to cut. Hot. Movies."

I get it was written in the 60s but I can't understand this at all. If anyone's got a better grasp on this, could you clue me in on what this kind of dialogue is supposed to mean?

Just came off passing the Undergraduate Certificate and now I'm transitioning to a Bachelor of Science. All the class types I've had until now were tutorials, practicals and workshops. Never heard of forums though, so anyone that's going through their degree or completed theirs, can you clue me in on what they are and what to expect?

Been watching season 4 and I notice that there's multiple scenes where Namond will come home, go in his room and turn on his TV to see some news playing. Soon as possible he'll switch it off and get on his Xbox. I know there's a message behind that, but I can't put it into words. Anyone figure it out?
