Does rising black fix on panasonic 10,20 series have any drawbacks?

I have bought a v20 for gaming , the image looks awesome , looks as good as my GT30 to my eyes except for the black levels which are a bit greyish due to the rising black problem ( the panel has already run for around 18k hours ) , I came across potential fix using an Arduino board to reset the timer thereby fixing the black levels.

My question is this : according to panasonic they have deliberately incorporated the rising blacks so as to offset phosphor degradation so does resetting the black levels cause any issues with image quality or longevity of the panel ?

Potential rising blacks fix using raspberry pi

Has anyone tested this fix : https://github.com/simonfelding/panasonicMLLreset

Which seems to be using a raspberry pi to fix the black levels

-does this work?

-Is there a way of taking back up on raspberry pi so as to permanently not brick the device

-does this fix have to be repeatedly applied therefore the tv needs to opened up in a periodic basis?

P42V20 is it good for gaming ?

Plasmas are quite rare in my country, I have a 50 inch gt30 for the living room , was searching for a 42 inch full hd one for the game room ( smaller room so need higher pixel density ) , found a 125 usd p42v20 , need help from the esteemed plasma enthusiasts in this sub:)

  1. is this is a good model w.r.t to lag

  2. how is the picture quality w.r.t to colours and contrast ratio ?

Possible 20 inch widescreen SD set ?

The seller mentioned widescreen crt , but I can't find any 20 inch wide screen on the internet and the perspective is confusing as well. Can anyone help with assessing whether this is widescreen or not
