I finally got Best Pals!

First of all, this is my first time having Ginji on a color device, and I love it. I'm treating him like the prince that he is. This is my second tama on my Pix, though, and the first time around I couldn't keep Neliatchi from leaving because I couldn't get the friendship level all the way up. I managed to do it this time, though, so Ginji can stay for a while!

Tama adjacent mail!

Forgot to take a picture before I opened it. I decided to get myself a unicorn as a month early birthday present.

Gudetama nano instructions - front and back scan

Finally got them. A wonderful human being from a local tamagotchi group scanned them for me, and I'm very appreciative. I wasn't able to add the images to my original post asking for them or to a comment on my original post (I guess because of settings for this sub or reddit overall), so here it is in a new post in case anyone else is looking for it.

Tips for getting started?

I'm getting ready to start up my Pix soon. I've looked through the instructions and bookmarked some pages on the tamagotchi wiki, but I'm wondering if any more seasoned owners have any tips for a new user. Anything you wish you had known or understood a little better when you raised your first tama on the Pix?

Tama Mail! (With extra love!)

I ordered the Pix used (not everything pictured here came from the same place) from someone who was looking to downsize their collection a bit. The seller sent me a sweet note and a little Mametchi charm and I was so touched that I wanted to include it here. For those that can't really read it in the picture or don't speak English and rely on translation, here's what it says:

Thanks for taking home this tiny tamagotchi cutie. Now it's your turn to give it snacks and naps and fulfill your digital duty.

- Here's a tiny trinket too. I 3D printed it just for you!

It's so nice to know I bought this from someone who clearly cared about it and is happy to see it go to a new home. It adds a little extra sentiment to the purchase. And I love my little Mametchi!

Neliatchi got married!

After nearly two months, I finally let my perfect girl go. It was bittersweet. I just downloaded Very Berry Land and was excited to get Ichigotchi, but I ended up with a baby boy. Oh well. Guess it's gonna be Hotcaketchi for now instead. 🤷‍♀️

Best place to find instruction manual download?

Hi! I just ordered my Pix. It's lightly used and the seller unfortunately no longer has the instruction manual. I searched online for a pdf, but I'm mostly finding websites that are very difficult to navigate due to insane amounts of ads. Anyone know a good place to find this? Thanks!

Customization question

Where's the best place to find parts? I want to change the shell on my uni, but only the back. I have the purple model and I like the purple, but I'm not a huge fan of the transparent, neon pink accents. I found an Etsy seller that does custom buttons and shells, but the listing for the back shell says it doesn't fit with the original front shell, so that doesn't work for what I want. I'd even take a used back shell (leftover after a shell change or taken off a unit that no longer functions), but I don't know if there's an easy way to find something like that. I appreciate any tips or v suggestions.

Having an Ichigotchi moment

First a blind bag, then a few weeks later, the gashapon. The universe wants me to have more Ichigotchi in my life, and I'm ok with that.

Evolving lower tiers in species?

I'm fairly new to the Paradise - just started a couple weeks ago. I just evolved a Hatchichi, which I'm very happy about, but getting here was brutal. I'm someone who checks on my tamas regularly, and I like to see full meters and happy faces. Having a to make six care mistakes just so I could have my cute little bee kind of sucked the joy of it for me for the last two days. I'm very glad to be able to return to normal care routines. It doesn't help that the animation of their sad little faces is absolutely heart wrenching, and my tama got sick three times on the way to adulthood (not counting the illness that always happens when they're babies). Is there a less awful way to evolve the lower tier tamas in each species? If not, any tips for getting through two days of feeling like a terrible tama parent? I've got my eye on the bat, snake, and isopod evolutions down the road, and it would be nice if I could achieve those without feeling like crap about it.

Went to the Bandai store in New Jersey!

My husband and I drove to American Dream over the weekend and visited the Bandai store while we were there. We got some fun stuff and got to meet Pochitchi through Tama Search on our Unis! I wanted to post earlier, but I've been sick all week. 🤒
