How do I get NES and SNES to display in 8:7 on my Retrotink 4k when using a MiSTER FPGA with direct video mode?

Hello!

I have been trying to get this working for a few days now and the only way I've been able to get around it is by turning off DV mode for SNES and NES cores in the mister.ini

However this obviously isn't optimal.

Every game console except the SNES and NES look "pixel perfect". Whether I just let the Retrotink 4k do its thing, or even after I downloaded a ton of pre-made profiles and put them in the DV1 folder, I still get the same thing. SNES and NES games are showing up in 4:3 which is not "pixel perfect". 8:7 is; 4:3 is stretching the pixels for the NES and SNES.

Is there a way to add 8:7 mode to the Retrotink 4k? Is there something I should be editing in the NES and SNES DV1 profiles to make them display in their actual internal ratio?

Thank you so much to anyone who can lend a hand!

With the way the SuperStation One requires SD card formatting every single time you update, can I put *everything* on the m2 SSD?

Hey all!

Just got my Superstation One with dock two weeks ago and have been spending the entire time setting the unit up.

I have all my cartridge ROMS on a 1tb MicroSD and all my isos and chds on the m2 drive.

Now that there's been an OS update to the Superstation One, I just learned yesterday that any time you want to update your Superstation One, you're actually *required to wipe the entire sd card every time you update*.

It is obviously somewhat insane that I have to move off tens of thousands of ROMS, save files, and cores every time I update , so I was wondering if there was any way I could leave those things on the m2 drive instead.

I know there's no issue with the ROMS being loaded from the m2, but I have no idea how it works with save files and cores. I've downloaded quite a few cores manually because they're not on update-all and those I assume would go missing once I update the Superstation One.

Sorry if I sound like I am complaining, the Superstation One is one of the greatest gaming purchases I ever made. I was just hoping I could find a way around this update limitation.

Is there a shortcut similar to the "To Keygroup" for the MPC Key37?

Hey all, I received my Live 3 a week after launch and have been in love with it since.

I was always eyeing the Key37 but hesitated due to how much I hated the red color (the MPC One in metallic blue looks phenomenal though!) but I was in absolute shock when they dropped it in the retro color (I was not expecting that!). I obviously appreciate the higher-end CPU it has as well.

One thing I found oddly omitted was the "To Keygroup" button that the Live 3 has, considering the Key37 is a literal keyboard. I would have loved to just press a pad and double-click a button to get an automatic piano program playing that sample. But on the Key37, the shortest process I can find is: go to the main screen, add a Keygroup track, click the physical sounds button, edit the instrument, and browse for the sample.

Definitely not trying to come off complaining, I was just wondering if there was maybe a shortcut I was missing or some sort of physical button combo I could use on the Key37 to make it operate as quickly and seamlessly as it does on the Live 3.

Thanks for reading and any help you could provide! 🎵
