I’m moving and called Optimum to cancel the service. I was paying $99 a month. The customer service person kept offering me better and better deals as I kept insisting I was cancelling.

His final offer - 3 months free and then $35 a month for the next year.

So if you are on Optimum, know it will be a horrible experience when you do need to cancel, but also know that if you want a better price, keep telling them you’re cancelling.

I travel for work and there’s a location I regularly stop at for a workout on my road trip. Was getting my stuff out of the locker after I finished and I hear - “You can’t give yourself a haircut in the locker room here. You need to do that somewhere else. Do you need a broom to clean up all the hair on the floor?”

Woman was standing at the mirror, apparently cutting her hair. Why would someone do that? Couldn’t she do that at home?
