First let me say the Raptor R is an amazing machine….but I truly just do not think it’s worth 120k+ worth it. I picked up a 2026 BRAPTOR avalanche grey….for 82k. Dealer took off about 5k from msrp. It’s not about what other people think, but more people made comments on the Braptor compared to the Raptor R. I imagine most people don’t know the difference. It was cool, but happy to be back with the braptor
I am a crazy person I know. I just bought the raptor r two weeks ago. I can’t lie. I just DONT love it. For 120k it just isn’t THAT special. It’s a great truck don’t get me wrong. But with gas prices…I filled up Sunday….130 at the pump. I’m already below 3/4 of tank and I work primarily remote lol. Either way I have an opportunity to get into a 2026 bronco raptor avalanche grey! They would give me 130k for the R and sell the braptor for 5500 under msrp. Thoughts on if 5500 off MSRP is good on a ‘26?

Hey guys! Got a insane deal on a 2026 raptor R (agate black). Paid 5k over msrp! So for context I am coming from a 2025 marsh grey bronco raptor. I cannot even put in words the night and day difference. Everything in the raptor felt small, compact. It was a great ride don’t get me wrong, and they are beautiful trucks. But this R is just in a different league (obviously, 40k dollars more should be)….the truck is spacious, the recaro seats are so comfy, the supercharger and exhaust are so loud(in the best way possible). I am blessed that I am able to have a toy like this. I had dealers reaching out to be wanting to give me 5-8k more than I paid for it. So it doesn’t seem to depreciate like a normal vehicle which is nice. Because if I get tired of the payment I will just bump out of it! Either way I can’t say good enough things about this truck. I am roughly at 11 MPG which is only like 2/4 miles less than the Bronco. Let me know if you have any questions
Not asking for financial advice please. Just wondering if the Raptor R and its rarity is worth it. I have a local dealer willing to do 10k over msrp. My payment would be 1800 a month…which I feel isn’t TERRIBLE for a 125k dollar truck. Either way, I was thinking if I get it and get sick of the payment I wouldn’t lose my ass if I try to sell it. Thoughts?
