Too many cops on the local racetrack, decided to go to the local autocross course instead.

Compared to the high speed road I usually drive, this narrow twisty road exploits my car's greatest weakness - quick transitions.

Yeah yeah I know your s2000/miata/F1 car/etc will wipe the floor with my car on this road.

Still good fun and practice though, threading the needle through a lane about as wide as my track width.

First Track Day at Thunderhill West!

Just did my first track day! Been dreaming about this for a long time and it exceeded all my expectations.

I know this probably looks like terrible driving to some veterans out there but I hope you can let me know where I can shave some seconds on this track!

The open nature of this track and the lack of objects to smash my car into (eg: laguna seca and sonoma) makes me a big fan. I'm planning on coming back later this year with a proper set of 200TW tires for hopefully a sub 1:30 target time.

Sorry about the audio. If anyone knows how to not have DJI mics make exploding noises when the windows are down, I would appreciate some pointers.

Awesome road, no traffic, good company and a fast car, what else could one ask for?

This car could use some Ozempic though but we don't body shame here...right?

Chill midnight drive to feel out some new tires

ECS02 review in 1 sentence: Infinite grip, but wet noodle sidewalls really begs for a stretched fitment despite running narrow.
