Just wondering if the husqvarna 701/Ktm690 is really as unreliable as its sometimes portrayed. Currently have a dr650 with full racetech suspension that my wife and I both ride. I am selling an adventure bike that I hardly ride (prefer the dual sport open wind / weight). My choices are a 701/690 or another Dr650 which I would need to build out the suspension on. It goes without saying the dr650 is as reliable as it gets. Don't really mind doing maintenance, but I don't want to wipe a cam or whatever and worry perpetually that something else is the next weak link due to metal particles. What say the dualsport hive mind? BTW I really love the torquey nature of the 650.
