Would you be suspicious of this Vinted seller?

I’m thinking about buying a ring from a well-known brand in my country on Vinted. The ring is listed as “new with tags.” In the photos, you can see the little tag inside the ring, and the ring is placed inside the brand’s original box. The ring is adjustable.

It originally costs €29, the seller listed it for €18, and I made an offer of €14 which she accepted.

Before buying it, I asked her if the ring had ever been worn and why she was selling it if it was new. She said it had never been worn and that she was selling it because her sister didn’t want it.

I then asked why the listing says the original box is not included, even though the box is clearly visible in the photos. She got quite annoyed and said that she keeps the box “for aesthetic purposes” because she needs it to take photos for her listings. She basically told me she didn’t want to answer an interrogation, and that if I wanted the ring I could buy it, otherwise it was fine. She then closed the chat, so I can’t message her anymore.

The thing that made me more suspicious is that I noticed she has another ring from the same brand currently listed, and looking through her reviews, she has sold several other rings from the same brand in the past few months — also without the original boxes.

So this is what I don’t understand: if these rings are genuinely new and she has multiple brand-new rings, why does she need to keep one box specifically for taking listing photos instead of using the original box belonging to each ring? Especially since the rings supposedly come with their own tags and are new.

Maybe I’m overthinking this, but the whole situation feels a little off to me. I’m not necessarily saying the rings are used or fake, but I’d like to know if you would consider this a red flag or if there’s a perfectly normal explanation I’m missing.

Would you still buy the ring for €14, or would you pass? Thanks!

Silver jewelry on Vinted?

Hey! I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes!

I recently switched from gold to silver jewelry after realizing that silver suits my undertone better. I don’t have many silver pieces yet, and I’m also on a bit of a budget, so I was thinking about buying some on Vinted.

How trustworthy is it, though? More specifically, I’d rather not buy jewelry that’s already been worn because I’m kinda picky about that 😅. So I was wondering: if a listing says “new with tags” (even though a lot of the time there aren’t actually any tags) and the seller also says it’s never been worn, how much can I actually trust that?

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to answer! 🫶
