‘Weed isn’t addictive’
I have chronic pain, anxiety, and a few other lovely disorders. Weed has helped me medicate for a lot of things. But I have severe impulse control issues, and a history of substance abuse. I genuinely have to just go cold turkey or continue where I’m at, which is currently anywhere from 4-7g a day.
It’s only been 2 days, shit, not even a full 48 hours. I’m struggling so much. I have been anxious as all hell, unable to muster up much of an appetite despite the hunger pains, and I’m barely sleeping. When I do sleep, I either have extremely vivid nightmares or dreams that center around smoking.
I feel like I’m losing my mind. Coming up on 5 years clean on xanax, 1.5 years from SH, and 9 months from alcohol. I can’t keep on like this but I don’t know any other methods of coping.
Weed isn’t addictive, you can say that all you want beneath. I do not care. It is so easy to develop a dependency on it.
