really struggling!

i started on 1.5mg two days ago, i’ve not taken it today. the anxiety has been sky high, yesterday i ate 4/5 sweet potato fries, and 2 cauliflower bite things, and i nearly threw up, then had a really upset tummy last night. for the past 2 days i’ve been under 900 calories, and i think it’s left me feeling worse for wear. has anyone else had this ?? does it improve ?? or am i just not prepared to start this medication ? it’s really doing me in !

Friend’s boyfriend has £4k of her savings England

essentially, my friend has been sending her boyfriend money to put into savings each month for a few months, with the idea that she won’t be able to touch the money or be tempted to spend any of it. there’s now evidence that he may be cheating on her, plus a whole host of other toxic behaviours, and she wants to leave. he is refusing to give the money back to her, clearly to stop her leaving. they don’t live together. does she have any kind of case here ? there’s nothing in writing officially, there might be some text messages. i want to help my friend but i don’t know what is actually possible in this situation

Emergency Tax causing Financial Hardship

hey all.

i started a new job in February, and was waiting on my P45, so naturally I was emergency taxed. However, after sending my P45, I’m still being emergency taxed on a BR tax code. I’ve spoken to HMRC a number of times, and my payroll department, but every time I’m told it ‘should’ be sorted for my next payday (3rd July). I’m at a point now where i’m struggling to make it through the month due to how much tax i’m paying. is there anyway to speed up the tax refund, or am I just gonna have to wait till July ?

Apologies if I sound a bit stupid, I’ve never really dealt with this kind of situation taking so much effort
