Got some good laps in yesterday on my backyard track.
After watering the track for an hour, then letting it sit for a few hours, the track was perfect!

I got all this for $300, plus some extra spur gears and a full set of bearings. I will sell the OTA programmer (have one), Tx/Rx, and charger to make it it an even better deal.
I was given this NIB RT5 from a friend who was home in Japan last week for the holidays. He came over on Sunday once on my track and knew this was right up my alley! For the first time, I will be leaving this in the box untouched.
We ran 2WD buggy, 4WD buggy and rally. Fun was had by all!
For those of you who have made this modification, do have any tips for the shocks? Longer ends and mounting in the inner most holes seems like the way.
