Vlsi placements

I have heard many people saying that companies hire mtech people only , they prefer mtech people over btech . That is pretty much true bcoz btech people r ece people not the ones who took specialization of vlsi in btech and companies generally don't want to teach people from scratch . But in India the btech vlsi program started in 2023 ,that means the passout batch is of 2027 . Now say me , whether companies hire people from btech (vlsi ) ? Very few and selected colleges in India hav this btech (vlsi) program in India and which was directly sponsered by centeral govt .

Even after doing btech (vlsi) should we again do masters vlsi ?

Confused about VLSI (btech ece )

Recently completed my 12 th and has intrest in the semiconductor industry . I m getting a seat in Hyderabad's top college(VNR) which ranks after bits ,iit and iiit . They have started their btech ( ece vlsi ) in 2025 and also offer master in VLSI from early 2000s . Do companies hire people who r btech freshers .all over India there r very few btech colleges which offer (ece vlsi ) and the first batch in many colleges started in 2023 . Is masters degree required for sure ? Earlier btech clgs did not provide vlsi in btech so they had to hire masters .now that it is starting to provide it ,will these companies hire from a tier 2 clg ?how r jobs in vlsi ?r the job opportunities gonna increase ?

So I was thinking to opt ece (vlsi ) in my btech

Now that my 12 th is done I now have so many engineering paths . But I m particularly more intrested in semiconductor industry . So I m getting a seat in top college of Hyderabad (VNR) ,recently this college got funds from central govt to hav btech vlsi , these guys already hav masters in vlsi since early 2000s , does the market hire people from btech (vlsi ) is it required for us to do mtech for sure ?

Earlier these btech colleges didnt have this course so people who r really intrested in vlsi had to do masters .

I also heard tht companies hire masters degree people , but tht was because in btech people didn't hav vlsi design in their course so companies has to teach and guide these freshers . Now that it is already available in btech , do the companies hire btech people too ?
