Help! Found these guys (and two more so far) crawling on my floor from seemingly out of nowhere! Second pic is a far out view of where I found them. They seem to be coming from under the rug but there is nothing under the rug. I will say that there is a tiny gap between the floorboards and this is over a concrete slab. I even checked the ceiling above to see if they were falling down from somewhere but there is nothing but a light fixture above this area. Totally gross, looking for some help.

If it helps, they were a little bit longer and a little less fat when they were moving. After I killed them. They kind of shrunk up and got shorter.

I'm worried about the new supports I just replaced in my garage. Any water/salt from my vehicles pools at the base of the beam. This caused the old ones to rot away. I'm looking for a quick DIY solution (doesn't have to be pretty) to prevent them from disintegrating.

Pics show the drain in relation to the support. Unfortunately the support is slightly lower than the drain

I've been looking forward to a new truck for the last 6-7 years and couldn't be happier. Upgraded from a 2004 cat eye that was my baby. Sold it to exactly the kind of person I wanted to - a young kid, his first vehicle.

The whole family came up to check it out and I got to say my final farewells. I'm gonna miss my old Chevy, but I'm hoping to keep this truck for the next 20+ years!
