FIXED!

I wanted to thank the community for helping me bring back to life this 2006 yamaha fz6.

Bought it off facebook marketplace for 1k.

Changed out the handlebars, brake and clutch levers/grips/footpegs, replaced the headlights. Threw away some useless wiring. (still need front blinkers, but that's not urgent.)

And most importantly, changed out the clutch.

It is running and I am now enrolled in an MSF class.

Thank you to everyone that commented and helped me get to this point.

How's my clutch pack?

I recently bought a used bike (my first bike. I'm new and learning), and the person before me changed the clutch pack last october.

The bike doesn't engage fully in 1st gear. When I rev, it doesn't transfer the power all the way.
When I pull the clutch, it disengages well.

Does it look like the steel is burnt?
Do I re-soak it and try again?
Or do I just get a completely new clutch pack?

There's no grinding noise.
ALSO I don't know what kind of oil the past owner might have used.

Any help trying to diagnose would be appreciated!

Can anyone help?

I just bought this bike that has a running engine.

I got the power to run to the wheels,

So now I'm just trying to get the wires aligned to get the headlight working.

Some of the wires are cut, and there are some aftermarket parts.

Is there anyone that is knowledgeable about this and would be down to video chat with me and give me some pointers?

I don't mind putting in the work.. it's just kinda hard to navigate for my first time trying to fix a bike up.
