Why do men seem to treat you better the worse you treat them?

I think my question is pretty forward, but ive been in 2 relationships and in the first one when i was thinking of breaking up with him that was the time he treat me the best and same with the 2nd one. Is there an explanation to this? Because its getting tiring, always giving my best in the beggining and they dont try but when im the one whos not trying they suddenly want to get better.

finally started taking care of my hair

I was my hair with the garnier powerful curls shampoo then u go with the ogx biotin & collagen conditioner and sometimes i will use a hair mask i am using the garnier coconut hair mask.
I brush style my hair with a detangling brush i use the tangle teezer one. First i go with the marc anthony leave in conditioner i spray it over my hair i sont use much and then i use the marc anthony shea butter and rake it through all my hair. I dont usually use mousse but when i do i use the herbal essence one and i just apply it on the top of my head and lastly i use the xtreme purple gel.
I diffuse my hair, first i diffuse my roots upside down and after i cup diffuse in sections, im still trying to figure out how to not get flat roots but thats my routine now!
I also use the bounce curl bonnet to protect my hair while im sleeping, i put it in a high pony suuuuper loose and just inside my bonnet.
