Big curved screen

Someone is offering me a used (free) big curved computer monitor. I think like 34/37".

Never used one so I feel like this may be a silly question but:

I feel like that's too big for arcgis. It's for my home work station. Will arcgis be usable on that thing? Is it worth it for me to take it? Will not be using it for movies/gaming.

I'm used to 24 maybe 27 inch I don't really remember what size monitor I currently use.

Anyone use one of these beasts?

Truplulse 360r

Hi all,

I'm in charge of GIS in my organization.

We have a survey built in esri ecosystem - survey123. The survey has questions that require measurements of length, height and slope (percentage/angle) of different items in a park (tables/benches/length of pathways and ramps etc...) that the surveyor answered while out on the job checking the site.

Does anyone have experience with the trupulse 360r connecting to survey123? Does it actually work? Does it have the ability to measure slope angle?

Or does anyone know if any other surveying device that connects directly to survey123?

Thanks

Geospatial Conferences 2027

Hello all!
My organization has tasked me with finding and suggesting up to 5 geospatial conferences for 2027 (will probably actually send people to 2 maybe 3).
I'm looking for quality professional conferences on the topics of GIS, Geospatial, Remote senseing, GeoAI and drone mapping. The conference can be anywhere world wide. (We already know about ESRI).
Anyone have any suggestions? Again this is for next year 2027.

thanks

Connecting Spotify works!

I recently bought the DC archive. It wouldn't connect thru Spotify even I went to the DC channel and clicked on the lock icon (to connect to my DC account).

I emailed them at help@dancarlin.com about the issue and they helped me out the next day.

If anyone is in that bind, this is the solution, email them and they send your a link.

Hope this can help someone

▲ 14 r/drones

I just finished a beginners drone course that have us intros to different careers that can be done with drones (mapping, photography, security, etc...)

I'd like to learn the backend and processing of drone mapping.

After the drone mapped the data, what do you do with it?

What software(s) should I learn?

I work in GIS so mapping really spoke to me...

Hopwe it's ok to post here. I'm looking to learn the backend of drone mapping. Meaning, after the drone took the imagery/lidar/cloud point and they have the raw data to someone.

What does that person use to turn the raw data into useable stuff?

It's there a course or even YouTube channel at just to start?

Thanks so much
