Question about Exodites campaign DIY terrain
While I got the exodites for my 40k army, I want to try out the narrative campaign and killteam in general.
The book specifies the terrain features footprint and gives some ideas how to DIY them with cardboard, sticks and aquarium plants, very cool.
However I'm not sure how high the terrain features are supposed to be. Which seems to be extremely important as it determines line of sight and also the exodites cannot take cover behind anyone lower than 2". So should I just make every piece of heavy terrain 2.5" high? The examples in the book show relatively flat terrain pieces with higher features.
Also they place models on the terrain, is that supposed to be like this? Should I build it to be climbable?
Very confused as to how this is supposed to work.
Sorry if this was asked before, could not find it in the search.
