My local friend, on today's daily visit for snacks and conversation. He will chat, cu-koo, caw and chitter back at me. Then floofs up, suns a bit, gets a drink of fresh water and off he goes.

Each eye has it's own vibe and aesthetic. So I did two. Just done on my phone with a little time looking up and sourcing photos from around the web that aren't AI. I had to join in on this, anything creative/artsy has me drooling to do.

I love how each of my eyes has it's own colour. One clearly has more of an aqua vibe with the deeper splash of brown in the center.

Some crazy formations in this storm cell. This later moved on and created funnels.

Right before getting hammered with 5 minutes of solid hail.

Moments before the skies opened up and a massive hail cell hit us.

Sunning, loafing, ku-cooing at me. He is friend and makes my heart full.

I lost my void kitty a few months ago and this guy has been hanging around my place since. As of a month ago, he started coming closer and now lets me within an arm's reach and will just hang out on my balcony with me. He comes nearly ever time we step out for a puff😙💨💚. I'm pretty sure he recognizes my cough as a call now 😆. So I keep peanuts in my pocket at all times now so that I can provide treats right away for him. He is so sweet.

I know this isn't a sub for actual rainbows but, I feel like y'all would appreciate this one. The camera couldn't even capture it's full awesomeness.

A little wrap I did today.

Have been sitting on some silver wire and this piece for some time now wanting to do something, so today I improvised a quick wrap. Not the best job, as I am out of practice, but it'll do.

I have used isopropyl to remove kinesiology tape from my hands and feet with no issues, in the past. So I figured I would be good to go to remove the tape from my legs in the same way. Well that didn't work so nicely. I soaked the tape in isopropyl alcohol and then pulled it up to remove. Well the bandages came off easily, but left all the adhesive behind, leaving a sticky, sticky mess that is now gummy and tacky. I have tried to keep using the isopropyl to break the glue down but it's drying my skin out. So I have tried lotion, which did nothing and now have my leg soaked in olive oil.

Anyone have any tips for removing glue from super sensitive and soft skin?

This is a sensory nightmare!

From now on I'm just going to use the oil to take it off in the first place so it all comes up in one with glue on the bandage, not left behind.

TL;DR: I glued my leg with kinesiology tape by only removing the fabric part and leaving the glue behind. Now I'm a sticky glue covered mess.
