Going to the show tomorrow in Orange County, has there been a poster for the Beths x beach bunny shows? I know there was a poster for the summer solo run
Based on other posts on this thread it seems like a decent amount of people are flying in to catch Noah at Petco Park in a couple weeks. I just wanted to share some local tips and tricks regarding getting to Petco and navigating the area around it, from someone who has been going to games and shows at Petco their entire life. No AI list or Yelp recs here just my local opinion.
Getting to the Stadium:
Walking: Downtown San Diego is very safe as far as big cities go, so if you are staying in the Gaslamp or surrounding areas you can definitely walk to and from the concert. You can even walk from as far away as places like Little Italy, but the walk will take a bit longer. You can enter the "red zone" on the bottom right of the map, it just gets a little more industrial and can be less safe then the Gaslamp, especially late at night
Trolley: If you are staying in Little Italy (very popular spot for tourists to stay) the trolley is honestly the move getting to Petco Park. $2.50 each way, avoids having to pay for parking, and drops you off right at outside the stadium.
Driving: San Diego is a very car-centered and large city so driving renting a car is a great way around and see all the sights. There are a few parking recs below, parking tends to get cheaper the futher you get from the stadium.
Food/Coffee/Drinks: Just a few recommendations below. The Gaslamp District (The Gaslamp) is the blue shape and the surrounding areas, and is basically all restaurants/bars/clubs/hotels.
Izola Bakery: Often voted one of the best bakeries in the USA, the croissants here are insane. Coffee here is pretty good, there are better cafes within walking distance, so sometimes I'll get a pastry from here and walk to a coffee shop
Asa Bakery: Japanse Bakery, also has insane pastries and other treats like Red Bean Buns and Milk Bread, along with savory options and drinks. Good matcha and other coffees/teas.
Bay City Brewing: This is the only spot I have a little bias towards, a couple of friends used to work here. Awesome beer and bar food. They have a rooftop bar that is a great spot to pregame before walking over to a Padres game (or concert)
Tacos El Gordo: San Diego has the best Mexican food in the country by far. I'm not saying TEG is the best Mexican food in San Diego (it's not) but if you are hanging out downtown and want some great tacos. Get the adobada with onions, cilantro, guac, and salsa.
Parking: Downtown is filled with both garage and ground lot parking. There is also street parking (pay via meter or app) but you will run into issues if you want to get to the show early, as most spots have a 2 hour limit, meaning if you wanted to get in line at 4pm, you would only be able to pay until 6, and then your parking would expire.
This is the Padres Parkade. It is the gold standard of parking for an event at Petco Park. Super close the stadium, spits you out onto 11th ave for a quick and easy getaway. For this reason it is usually expensive. I have seen it be well over $100 for a Padres game, not sure what the pricing will be for the NK show (price changes every event.) If you are driving and have the money I would park here.
Laz parking on 8th and Island: Still super close, will be a little cheaper than the parkade. Pay via kiosk on site, can be a little chaotic after the event but still a good place to park.
AMB Parking: Will be cheaper than the parkade as well. A good place to park if you want to explore seaport village or other parts of downtown.

Good afternoon people looking to get killed. If you are looking to attend a Geese show and pay retail there are still tickets available for the Gallagher Square concert in SD. San Diego is lovely in October and Gallagher square is a great place to catch a show (especially if you missed out on LA)
