Selling annual leave

The window for selling up to five days annual leave (at HMRC) opens 13-31 October. Worth remembering for those wanting the additional money in time for Christmas. It will be paid in the November salary.

Part timers can claim up to the equivalent pro rata amount.

PIP Tribunal outcome

Just had my PIP tribunal. I’d appealed and had the mandatory reconsideration of a claim that awarded standard daily living from late 2014.

The judge, doctor and disability expert were all very understanding. They took a break after 39 minutes and decided at that point they could increase to Enhanced Daily Living and Standard Mobility. DWP were present but had nothing to add.

So very glad I persevered now. DWP asked when the claim runs to and the judge confirmed the same as the current which is late 2029.

Another accidental 10mg post

A long time user of GLP meds I’d had a break and was starting slow with reta. 2mg week one and two wasn’t giving me the same experience I’d had on the max dose of tirz (go figure) so went to 4mg.

Four days later, and injecting what I thought was another peptide, I removed the needle to realise I’d taken 10mg of reta. This on top of the 4mg earlier in the week which I could feel but nothing intensely.

Reassured by the many similar threads of people whacking 10mg in on their first jab I just thought ‘ah well, this’ll be interesting’

Took a cannabis gummy at bedtime. Slept like a baby despite a RHR of 125bpm.

Pulse on waking day two is 96. Elevated but nothing of concern. I’m just going to be sensible with my food. Or am I, at the 24 hour mark, deluding myself? I’ve a pool party in three days. Was looking forward to it but now suspect I’ll be waving away food and off the alcohol.

I’ve no obvious side effects except for my heart rate and though feeling a little snacky yesterday resisted the urge and just ate a little.
