Need honest advice from Indian MBBS students in Georgia (especially TSMU/University of Georgia)

Hi everyone,

I'm an Indian student planning to study MBBS in Georgia next year. My first choices are Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) and the University of Georgia because my long term goal is to pursue postgraduate training and build my medical career in UK.

Before making such a big decision, I'd really appreciate honest feedback from current students or recent graduates.

I have a few questions:

  1. Have you personally experienced racism or discrimination? If yes, how common is it?

  2. Do you generally feel safe living in Georgia?

  3. How is the quality of teaching and clinical exposure?

  4. Are professors supportive of international students?

  5. If you could choose again, would you still study at the same university? Why or why not?

  6. Is there anything you wish someone had told you before moving to Georgia?

  7. Would you recommend Georgia over private medical colleges in India if someone plans to settle in the UK?

I'm looking for honest experiences—the good and the bad. Thank you so much for your help!
